  1. Ok, provo a tradurre usando le mie conoscienze.

    Guardo tutti quegli show riguardo il disordine (hoarding si può tradurre in questo contesto come ammasso di roba, si riferisce quindi a quiei programmi tv in cui la gente riempie le proprie abitazioni di roba inutile a causa di problemi psicologici e/o affettivi), non perchè io sia affascitana/o dalla psicologia.. ma perchè amo pulire! Amo pulire e buttare via cose. Non sono per nulla un cacciatore e collezionista (quello è McIrish, principe dell’immersione nel cassonetto e cacciatore di offerte). Io sono quello di cui ogni cacciatore collezionista ha bisogno per bilanciare. Un bruciatore e purificatore.

    Non posso farci niente. Ho un ossessivo bisogno di riordinare cose. Amo pulire prodotti. Amo passare l’aspirapolvere. Parker e James avrebbero di certo potuto chiedere il mio aiuto. Oh, la gioia di gettare via spazzature inutilizabile. La vertiginosa logica di sapere che no, non avranno mai bigogno di quelle sei dozzine di extra grucce per cappotti! L’aroma intossicante di Lemon Pine-Sol! (Non ne sono certa, ma credo che il Lemon Pine-Sol sia una prodotto per pulire o qualcosa del genere, è quindi non ha traduzione specifica)

    E, come Parker e James hanno scoperto, la profonda soddisfazione di trovare una casa sotto tutta quelle macerie. Di valorizare qualcosa o gettarla via. E si, la gioia di una luccicante cucina pulita. : )
